Speedbump - nice stuff :) Kitchen Magic

I love to cook. I've heard that some don't, and that baffles me. You have to eat; why not make it fun and taste good while you're at it?
It's not brain surgery. Anyone who's willing to learn can cook. The most important thing is, you have to like to eat. If you really don't care about the finished product, your cooking is going to turn out poorly.
Think about everything you've ever done in your life that turned out well. You probably worked at it, didn't you? Cooking is no different. Experience can't be replaced. Be willing to make mistakes. (Be willing to *eat* your mistakes!) Listen to other people's trials and triumphs. Not only can you avoid what they did wrong, you can do what they did right -- the first time!
In that spirit, I offer some tried and true recipes from me and my family. I call it all "magic" because it's still amazing to me when I put a bunch of stuff together and it comes out tasting delicious. Enjoy all of your experiments. If you have any problems with recipes on this site or questions about reprinting them, please write to me.
